Our 5 Certification Levels
From a simple certificate of attendance to a diploma – our system recognizes your learning progress at every level.
Certificate of Attendance
For all course participants. Confirms attendance and active participation in the course.
Prerequisite: Full course attendance
Applies to: All leisure courses and basic courses
Recognition: Personal development; creditable as internal training depending on the employer.

HSS Certificate
Certificate of the Humanistic School Switzerland. Confirms acquired specialist knowledge after passing the final quiz.
Prerequisite: Course attendance + final quiz (min. 70% correct answers)
Applies to: All certificate courses (with quiz)
Recognition: Internal certificate of the Humanistic School Switzerland. Not state-recognized. Usable as proof of further education depending on the employer.
Examples:
- Understanding ADHD – Basic Course
- Children in the Separation Phase
- Puberty & School – For Teachers
Specialized Certificate in Humanistic Pedagogy
Advanced specialized certificate after completing at least 3 thematically related certificate courses.
Prerequisite: 3 completed certificate courses (HSS certificate) in the same subject area
Applies to: Thematic course series (e.g., parent education, school pedagogy, special topics)
Recognition: Internal specialized certificate of the Humanistic School Switzerland. Not state-recognized. Recommended for professionals as proof of further education.
Examples:
- 3× Parent Education Courses
- 3× School Courses for Teachers
- 3× Special Topics (Autism, ADHD, Separation)
Diploma in Humanistic Pedagogy I
First diploma after completing Academy Modules 1–3. Fundamental pedagogical training in humanistic education.
Prerequisite: Completion of Academy Modules L-101, L-202, L-303 + final thesis
Applies to: Academy training (Modules 1–3)
Recognition: Diploma of the Humanistic School Switzerland. Not state-recognized. Targeted recognition by SVEB and eduQua (in preparation).
Examples:
- L-101 Fundamentals of Humanistic Pedagogy
- L-202 Developmental Psychology
- L-303 Didactics & Methodology
Diploma in Humanistic Pedagogy II (with Specialization)
Full diploma after completing all 5 Academy Modules. Qualifies for course leadership under supervision.
Prerequisite: All 5 Academy Modules (L-101 to L-505) + practical work + final colloquium
Applies to: Complete Academy training
Recognition: Diploma of the Humanistic School Switzerland with specialization. Not state-recognized. Targeted recognition by SVEB and eduQua (in preparation). Qualifies for course leadership under HSS supervision.
Examples:
- All Modules L-101 to L-505
- Practical work (min. 20h supervision)
- Final colloquium in Georgia or Online

Path A – Parents & Family
For parents, grandparents, and anyone interested
Final Goal
Specialized Certificate (Level 3)

Phase 1: Leisure Courses

Completion: Certificate of Attendance
Ideal for getting started and for personal development. No prerequisites.
Phase 2: Fundamentals
- Humanistic Pedagogy – Basic Course
- Understanding ADHD – Basic Course
- Understanding Autism – Basic Course
Completion: HSS Certificate
Build foundational knowledge. Each course concludes with an online quiz.
Phase 3: Specialization
- Children in the Separation Phase
- Understanding Puberty
Completion: Specialized Certificate in Humanistic Pedagogy
Combine 3 certificate courses for the specialized certificate. E.g., 2 basic + 1 specialization.
Path B – Pedagogical Professionals
For teachers, educators, social pedagogues
Final Goal
Diploma in Humanistic Pedagogy II (Level 5)

Completion: HSS Certificate
Ideal for teachers who want to integrate humanistic methods into their teaching.
Phase 2: Teacher Training
- Teacher Training Basic Course (LB-101)
- Teacher Training Advanced Course (LB-202)
Completion: HSS Teacher Training Certificate
Separate registration form with proof of previous education required.
Phase 3: Academy Training
- L-101 Fundamentals
- L-202 Developmental Psychology
- L-303 Didactics & Methodology
Completion: Diploma in Humanistic Pedagogy I
No formal educational requirements. The only prerequisites are a humanistic, ethical attitude and the sincere motivation to promote the best for the child. Registration via a separate academy form.
Phase 4: Deepening & Completion
- L-404 Inclusion & Diversity
- L-505 Practice & Completion (incl. Georgia stay)
Completion: Diploma in Humanistic Pedagogy II with Specialization
Qualifies for course leadership under HSS supervision.
